Where are the animations shown?
We are currently broadcasting to multiple digital signage locations: The Commons, the UC Plaza, and the Center for Well-Being (when content is appropriate), and a screen in Sherman.
Who can get an animation?
Anyone at UMBC! If you have a student ID, chartstring or department card, you are welcome to use our services. Our work is focused on the purpose of advertising an event, an awareness campaign, or announcements specific for and from the UMBC community.

- Description: This is for larger-scale projects that go above and beyond are above options. This might include voice-over work, music implementation, character development, etc.

What about that big sign on the RAC?
The sign on the RAC is nicknamed the “Marquee,” and its purpose is to be external-facing. Welcome messages, achievements, and large-scale banner events relevant to the community are posted here. Animations on that screen can only be 5 – 7 seconds long with minimal information. Appropriateness for this screen will be determined upon request. Prices range from $25 from an adapted animation to $125.
How can I get my animation on other screens?
Join the Digital Displays User Group on myUMBC. Screen administrators from across the campus are on there, and you can share your file/link we provide to them for download.
